Sheila Haage, Board Member

Sheilla Haage

I have lived in Putnam County almost all my life and think it i a great place to live and
aise a family.

I was appointed to the Putnam County Board in January, 2007, to fill the vacancy of my Dad, Blaine Clancy. I was then elected to the Board in Novemer, 2008 in the general election.

I am married to Bill Haage and we have four children — Chad married to Lynn, Michael, Bryan married to Tracie, and Kristi married to Joe Smith. Three of our children live in Putnam County. We also have ten grandchildren.

Bill worked at the steel mill for 40 years until it's closing in 2009. I was employed by the Putnam County School for 17 years, with 15 of those years being the secretary at the PCES — Hopkins Building in Granville. I must say for me it was the BEST job ever. I can truly say I enjoyed everything about it. I retired from the school system in 2006. I still keep busy by being a substitute aide in the school district.

My Dad, Blaine Clancy, enjoyed being on the County Board and doing his best for the people of our county. After following in his footsteps for the past 4 years, I feel I have learned so much but realize there is so much more to learn. I have enjoyed these past four years and am looking forward to the future in Putnam County.
